We have spent much of our lives living at camp, going to camps, working at camp - it is the thread woven throughout both our childhoods. We even met at camp! In 2015, we moved to Nashville, got married, and added two beautiful sons to the mix. We wanted to put down roots here, but quickly realized the difficulties of having a young family and simultaneously finding a community and following our passions and getting everyone outdoors.

But still, we dreamed, and talked, and dreamed some more. And we recognize that today is the only day we’ve been given, and life is too short, and family and community too precious, to put it off any longer.

So here we are, doing the scary thing - believing that if we are vulnerable and authentic with the world, we may find others willing to do the same with us.
